Joining Westerley

Becoming part of Westerley means joining a friendly, supportive community of riders who enjoy everything from relaxed social spins to long‑distance adventures and competitive racing. Our members include experienced riders who’ve competed at the highest levels, completed major endurance events, and explored some of the best cycling routes in the UK and beyond.

But it’s not just about getting fitter or faster. It’s about belonging to a club with a strong social heart — group rides, café stops, training sessions, trips away, and a calendar full of events on and off the bike.

What You Get as a Member

For less than £1 per month, you receive:

• Access to our full programme of club rides, outings, training sessions, virtual racing, and social events
• Reduced entry fee and guaranteed entry to our Hillingdon Circuit Time Trial series
• Free entry to our club reliability ride and sportive: the Westerley Winter Warmer and Summer Sizzler
• Free entry to all West London Combine road time trials
• Your first club jersey is subsidised
• Support and guidance from experienced riders, whether you’re new to cycling or aiming for big goals
• The chance to represent Westerley in races and compete for our trophies and awards

Our members are based mainly in West London and Buckinghamshire — but many who’ve moved away, nationally or internationally, stay connected and remain an important part of the club.

Membership Options

• Full adult membership: £10 per year
• Junior membership (16-17): FREE, but contact [email protected] to discuss
• Social membership and second‑claim membership are included within the adult member rate.
• Lifetime member: Free, once you have been a member for many years!

Second claim means you race for another club in competitive events such as time trials, road races or Audaxes. You can choose different first‑claim clubs for different disciplines, and you can be a second‑claim member of as many clubs as you wish.
