CLUB TIME TRIAL CHAMPIONS

A new championship cup presented by Mr. F.W. Fletcher to replace the previous cup was won outright by A.M. Griffiths, the Club Champion in 1947, 1948 and 1949. It was decided by the Club in General Meeting that the new cup should be a perpetual trophy.

VETERANS' CHAMPIONSHIP

The veterans time trial championship was inaugurated in 1997 to be awarded to the rider achieving the best plus over VTTA standard times at 10, 25 and 50 miles. The trophy originally donated by D. Nel, was re-dedicated to the memory of Beattie Townsend, our first lady member well loved wife of our life President Will Townsend. Prior to 1997 a Veterans trophy was awarded based on one event.
